Fallout Wins $1,000,000 Metro Pace

September 23, 2024

Brittany Farms-bred Fallout p,2,1:49.1 ($436,600) followed his win in the elim for the Metro Pace at Mohawk with an equally impressive score in the $1,000,000 final, where he took a career mark of 1:49.1 and rose to the top of the flagpole as the year's richest 2-year-old pacer.

His time of 1:49.1 equaled the track, stakes and Canadian record for 2-year-old pacing colts.

The son of Captaintreacherous from the golden producer Aria Hanover is owned by Robert Leblanc, Pryde Stables and Caviart Farms and trained by Tony Alagna. He sold at last year's Lexington Selected Yearling Sale as his gifted sire's top-priced son, at $250,000.

The Metro elim and final made it three stakes wins on the 2024 campaign trail for Fallout. He also won a leg of the Kindergarten Series at the Meadowlands, a travel destination for him as he will soon compete in the Breeders Crown there in late October.

Great news for yearling buyers is the fact that Brittany will offer a very close relative to Fallout at this year's Lexington Selected Sale.

That comes in the form of Hip 34 Stingman, a first-crop colt by Perfect Sting who's the first foal from stakes winner Captiva — the full sister to Fallout, millionaire Blue Diamond Eyes, and $400k winner Captain Kirk.

You're invited to see updated pedigrees and videos of the farm's yearlings by clicking here. And you're also invited to visit the farm prior to the sale to get an up-close and personal inspection, or come see us in Barn 10 at Fasig-Tipton.

The yearlings will ship Friday, Sept. 27 and shows begin Saturday, Sept. 28.
