Brittany Farms takes this opportunity to thank everyone who inspected, bid on, or purchased a yearling from our consignment at the recently concluded Lexington Selected Sale. We also wish successful buyers the best of racing luck with their new horses!
The sale—especially considering that it was conducted during the pandemic—was considered by all a big success.
Many who were able and willing were in attendance at the Fasig-Tipton sales grounds. Others joined in with phone bidding or utilized the new online bidding platform offered by the sales company’s vendor, Proxibid, which looks to become a useful tool in coming years, as well.
Brittany is proud to have sold a half-dozen yearlings in its 18-head consignment for $100,000 or more, led by the Chapter Seven-Honey Honey colt Local Honey, who fetched $150,000.
Two of the farm’s colts from the first crop by World Champion Walner also made $100,000 or more, with the Morning Glow colt bringing $135,000.
Those interested may review the farm’s virtual inspection videos, which will be archived for a time, by
